Out of Character Rules

• Be Civil: That's self explanatory and it applies to members, visitors, and other sites. Remember we all represent our forum and we want to do it to the best of our abilities. If you have a problem with someone please take it to Private Messages, or just don't say anything at all.
• NO CHATSPEAK: Chatspeak on any level outside common things like , BRB, OMG, etc is not allowed. Period.
• Character Limitation: We will not limit characters unless it is proven that you cannot handle the amount you have or you abuse the power. Four or five is a general number but if you want more and you have the ability and admin permission, go for it/
• Wait for Approval: You must wait for admin approval on a character before you can start playing them on this site. Apps will be checked by one admin unless it is an important canon (Mane 6, Alicorns) or an OC that is planned on having a big role. 
• Activity Check: Activity checks will happen the first week of every month. To meet the requirements for an activity check you must post in the activity check (which will explain everything you need to do to stay active) If you fail to post in two activity checks without alerting us to a hiatus your characters will be binned. Every six months a site sweep will occur, if you have not posted or logged on during this time your account will be deleted. We will save your characters in the bin up to a whole year, and if you choose to come back you just need to make a new account.

In Character Rules

• Keep It PG-13: This is a Proboard rule, and it is also ours. Because this fandom can attract a younger audience we need to keep it clean. If you want to have excessive gore or romance then take it to PMs, or even better, take it off site.
• Basic Roleplay Decorum:This should not need to be explained. There will be no god-modeing or power-playing. Pay attention to the status of a thread, if its not open and your character isn't on the invite list, don't join it. If you are joining an established thread read the past posts so that you know what is happening. Communication with your partners is important so please do it so that everyone is on the same page (unless stated otherwise) If you wouldn't like someone doing it to you then don't do it. Plain and simple.
• Post Length: Please keep your posts over one paragraph, and under 10 unless given permission by your roleplay partners. We want to focus on quality not quantity. We would rather have a very short, but good post then a long and rambling one.
• Use Your Best Grammar and Spelling: We understand that English is a hard and often confusing language, even for those of us who have grown up writing it their entire lives. But you should know basic paragraph structure, dialogue rules, grammar and spelling. (if you come from a country that does not speak English as a main language please tell us so we can help make things easier for you here). Typos are okay, we all do it, but repetitive structural mistakes will be addressed by admins.
• Canon Characters: Due to the limited amount of main and support canons members are limited to two canons that are featured in important roles in multiple episodes. That means you cant have all of the cutie mark crusaders, or everypony from Sweet Apple Acres.

Cbox Rules

• In Character Cbox: This is not a substitute for threads. While character development can happen here please limit the amount of excessive drama.
• Out of Character Cbox: This is a place for discussion and fun. If you have a problem take it to PMs. If a fellow member asks you to stop something then stop. If admins get involved you will be removed from the cbox for a time.

Punishment

In the event of rule infractions members will be warned twice by an admin. If the rule is continued to be broken the admins hold the right to discuss the infraction and decide on a fitting punishment ranging from temporary character binning, to banning of an account. So be nice and follow the basic rules if you please.
